We are pleased to inform you that beginning May 9, 2020, Jefferson County will be moving to the Safer-at-Home level of our COVID-19 response. That means businesses that have been deemed Critical will continue to remain open, and non-Critical Businesses may now begin to open with restrictions/precautions.
We have been working closely with Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH), the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), Jefferson County leadership and many others to ensure our local businesses have the guidance, tools and resources you need to safely transition to this new phase. Together, we have created and packaged a wealth of information to help you safely get started and begin operations.
Official public health guidance for all businesses and nuanced guidance for various sectors/industries.
A communications toolkit with signage in English and Spanish to post at your entrance, signage to promote proper hygiene practices among employees, social media graphics and more.
Quick links to additional resources from CDPHE, such as frequently asked questions.
Open for Business Campaign Additionally, we understand the importance of gaining customer confidence in returning to our retail and business locations. We have partnered with JCPH to create a campaign to help you demonstrate to the community that your business is taking important precautions to protect health and safety during this time. Pledge to follow the guidance set forth by public health, and download a poster to proudly display at your business location! We will be widely promoting this symbol across our communications channels as well. Access the materials here.
As always, thank you for your partnership and everything you do for our community.
Sincerely, Juliet Abdel, IOM, MS President/CEO Westminster Chamber of Commerce
