Scholarships will cover all tuition, fees & course materials for 30 of FRCC's career paths in education, health care, HVAC and forestry-related occupations.
Coloradans who want a rewarding new career can now complete 30 of FRCC’s degree and certificate programs at no cost. Tuition, fees and course materials are completely covered by the state of Colorado’s Career Advance and Care Forward initiatives.
Almost 1,000 FRCC students have already received Care Forward funding over the last year. And more than 1,500 are currently enrolled this semester in the college’s no-cost programs through both Career Advance and Care Forward.
FRCC’s eligible programs are all in the following fields:
- Early Childhood and Elementary Education
- Forestry and Wildland Firefighting
- Health Care, Nursing and Emergency Medical Services
- Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
- Wellness and Massage
Once students earn their certificate or degree, they’ll be well prepared to begin working, continue their education, or both.“These positions are critical to all of us who live in Colorado,” said FRCC President Colleen Simpson, EdD. “We’re helping our students quickly start rewarding careers in several of the most needed and high-demand fields in our communities.”
