    Westminster to close most city facilities as of Saturday, March 14

    In a proactive effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 in Colorado and in response to the President’s Declaration of a National Emergency and the Governor’s Declaration of a State Emergency, the following closures and cancellations are in effect for the city:
    Parks, recreation and libraries
    Effective Saturday, March 14, all Park, Recreation and Library facilities are closed to the public until further notice. City parks and open spaces remain open to self-directed activities only.
    Programs, activities and events
    Effective Saturday, March 14, all programs and events, both indoor and outdoor, are suspended until further notice. This includes the Tuesday, March 17, St. Patrick's Day event at the MAC, the Wednesday, March 18, Water and Sewer Rate Open House and the Spring 2020 Citizens Police Academy.
    City Hall
    Effective Tuesday, March 17, City Hall will be closed to the public until further notice. Passport appointments are currently suspended. If the closure of City Hall presents a substantial hardship, please call 303-658-2400 during business hours for assistance or direction.
    Municipal Court
    Municipal Court is being evaluated due to current cases and its status will be updated soon.
