Westminster Chamber Annual Awards

Award Categories & Descriptions

The Westminster Chamber of Commerce proudly acknowledges the outstanding contributions of local businesses, organizations, and individuals through awards nominated and selected by Chamber member business leaders. The award ceremony will take place at the Church Ranch Event Center on Friday, April 10, 2026. Nominees need not be Chamber members, and self-nominations are encouraged. Nominations are due by March 23, 2026.

Small Business of the Year - Recognizing the backbone of our community and the economy, this award celebrates a small business (up to 49 employees) that add to the uniqueness of our community. Must be located in Adams or Jeffco County, or be active Westminster Chamber members.

Large Business of the Year - This award honors a large business (50 or more employees) that enhances the attractiveness of the community for future residents and businesses alike. Must be located in Adams or Jeffco County, or be active Westminster Chamber members.

Non-Profit of the Year - This award recognizes and commends excellence and innovation among non-profit organizations, emphasizing significant social impact achieved through creative and practical approaches. Must be located in Adams or Jeffco County, or be active Westminster Chamber members.

Westy Achiever - This award is bestowed upon an individual who has attained the pinnacle of professional excellence, contributing significant time and energy to the betterment of the community and played a vital role in opening doors to leadership opportunities. Must be located in Adams or Jeffco County, or be active Westminster Chamber members.

Educator of the Year - This award recognizes an educator who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and commitment to the education and development of children in our community. Must be located in Adams or Jeffco County, or be active Westminster Chamber members.

Community Servant of the Year - This award is presented to an individual who has selflessly served the community, making significant contributions to its well-being and fostering a positive impact on the lives of residents in Adams or Jefferson County. 

Ambassador of the Year - This award honors an exceptional Ambassador who has gone above and beyond in fostering connections, promoting collaboration, and representing the Chamber with enthusiasm and dedication. The Ambassador of the Year is selected by the Chair of the Ambassador Committee and the Chamber CEO. 

New Member of the Year - This award celebrated a new Chamber member who has quickly become an engaged and valuable part of the community, making notable contributions in a short time. New Member of the Year is selected by the Chamber CEO. 

Young Professional of the Year - This award recognizes an emerging leader under 40 who is making a meaningful impact in their profession and in the Westminster community. They demonstrate exceptional drive, professionalism, and community spirit — showing not only where the future is headed, but leading the way there. Whether through innovation, leadership, or service, this individual is a rising star who’s already leaving a lasting mark.

Chairman's Choice - This award is a special recognition by the Chair of the Chamber Board for outstanding contributions, leadership, or impact on the business community.
