Candidate Forums
Prior to the November General Election, Westminster Chamber of Commerce hosts all Westminster Mayoral and City Council Candidates in two Candidate Forums. All of the candidates for each office are invited to participate in the event, one of which is shown live on Channel 8 (Comcast) and taped for future re-broadcasts. The Chamber conducts this forum to allow the candidates to speak to the issues and to provide an opportunity for voters to ask questions.
The Candidates will take questions from the audience during the 90-minute live Forum. As many qualifying questions* as time allows will be used. Questions may be submitted in advance to the Chamber. (*Open Question Form for rules)
The first Westminster Candidates Forum on October 10th will be videotaped by the City of Westminster. The City of Westminster’s Channel 8, can only be seen on Comcast.
