David McKean serves as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives at Catholic Charities of Denver, one of Colorado’s largest faith-based nonprofit organizations serving tens of thousands of individuals and families each year through ministries focused on housing, family support, counseling, and emergency assistance. In his role, David works across the organization to launch new initiatives, strengthen partnerships, and expand programs that serve the community. He is currently collaborating with the St. Raphael Counseling leadership team on the opening of a new Westminster counseling office to bring additional mental health resources to local families. David previously spent more than two decades building and leading companies in technology, hospitality, and consumer industries. He is the father of two children—his son is pursuing graduate studies at CU, and his daughter is a graduate of the UGA’s Terry College of Business living in Atlanta.
